About Me (In My Own Words)
I started to feel short of breath in early February. I approached my local GP and he sent me for blood tests. The tests showed that I had sustained heart damage so I was sent for a chest X-Ray. An enlarged heart was discovered and I was referred to cardiology. I had an echocardiogram and was diagnosed with aortic valve regurgitation, this was the same tissue valve that was a replacement for my original stenotic aortic valve. Since then I have had a trans-esophageal echocardiogram and a CT scan. Shortly I should have the results. Watch this space.
