About Me (In My Own Words)
After a routine physical about 5 years ago, my PCP detected a heart murmur. After a few rounds of testing, it was determined that I had a bicuspid aortic valve. My last cardiac mri detected that the valve was leaking severely and we needed to intervene now. My heart is very healthy but the leakage could do damage to my heart eventually. After living with this for over 5 years, I’m ready to get it taken care of.
