Dan's Profile

Born with cardiac issues in 1958. I had a VSD, Ventricular septal defect, repaired in 1964. This was done at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. I currently live in Cottage Grove, WI with my wife Lora. Our daughter Diane lives in Texas and our son Greg is currently deployed with the Army in Germany. I lived with a bicuspid aortic valve all my life. I've had yearly appointments with my internal medicine doctor I was diagnosed with Endocarditist in August of 2011. After 9 days in the hospital, I went home with 6 weeks of infusion antibiotics. I was also told it was time for the aortic valve to be replaced.
