About Me (In My Own Words)
In 2004, a heart murmur was heard and a subsequent echocardiogram showed aortic stenosis. I had no symptoms. This past year I attended a health fair where progression of the aortic stenosis was suspected and confirmed with a TEE with a diagnosis of severe aortic stenosis. I am still mostly symptom free with the exception of some fatique. Using this time to research and choose a surgeon and hospital since surgery seems to be in my future.
