About Me (In My Own Words)
Born with Aortic and Mitral Stenosis, I finally have progressed to the point of needing surgery. I will be receiving two mechanical valves in an open-heart surgery on January 4, 2012. Once complete, I look forward to finally knowing what it feels like to push myself to my physical limits and to take up running again.
