About 3 1/2 years ago I was diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve,apparently this was a birth defect left undetected.At first I could not understand how this was overlooked ,I played sports all my life and had many physical exams but still overlooked.Now as a result of my last 6 month follow up exam my doctor said it was time to have the valve replaced.So at age 47 I am facing major surgery,my emotions are all over the board but with the help of Adams book I hope to curb them.Thanks again Adam!
