I had open heart surgery in June aortic replacement surgery and cabg x2 i must have been waiting for about 18mnths from diagnosis to actual surgery i went into surgery on the tuesday morning 10am terrified of what to expect and woke up in cicu alive and done and dusted at 4am Wednesday morning, didn’t feel a thing the worst part of the operation was removing the breathing tube as i was awake
