About Me (In My Own Words)

I am meeting with a professor in cardiothoracic surgery and especially aortic valve surgery, on the 8th April, following a referral from my existing cardiologist. The suggestion is surgery in 6 months as my valve has deteriorated to moderate/severe. The suggestion is open heart aortic valve replacement. This has been suggested as I turned 50 in January and am relatively fit and healthy.
