About Me (In My Own Words)
I have been diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse in 2008. The condition was moderately severe back then. In the last few weeks, i have done echo, TEE & Cath and the test results show that my condition is severe now.
The good news is my artery is clear.
I will be talking to a few surgeons in the coming weeks to decide on the next step.
I am so glad to come across this site which has helped me to learn about the different treatment options and how others (fellow valve patients) are coping with their situations.
