My primary care heard a heart murmur on an annual check-up in 2019. My cardiologist has been monitoring for the last few years. I began to struggle with being out of breath when just running a short distance. Thought it might be age, but found the aortic stenosis is now severe. Surgery set for 8/15/2024.
