Open heart surgery is coming up this Friday, June 10. major ASD problem (atrial septum defect), and the valve may need replacement. While it's really not as serious as heart surgery was just a few years ago, it is still a highly intrusive surgery (they actually will be splitting my sternum and stopping my heart for a while to fix it) and involves a slow and steady recovery period in which I will be relying on the support - both spiritually as well as functional - of you.. my friends. through this online journal, I will be able to keep you all updated and let you know if and when I need to generous help you have offered ..if I do, it will likely be just little things.
