About Me

78-year-old British Army Veteran, then Social Worker. Heart problems first identified in 2018. Diagnosed Severe in June 2024, although probably before that if 6-monthly ECG hadn't been missed. Referred in September to a Regional TAVI Centre 100 miles from home. Sparse communication not unusual in UK's struggling NHS System. Now feeling exhausted, breathless, and with some trepidation.
