About Me

In February of 2020, I was diagnosed with asymptomatic moderate aortic stenosis. 4-years later, February 2024, my moderate aortic stenosis has progressed to severe with mild symptoms. My surgery is scheduled for Friday, April 12th, 2024. I joined this online community 4-years ago after being diagnosed and have found it incredibly helpful. I've read up on patient stories, have participated in online informational work-shops given by surgeons, etc. and receive the weekly newsletter. Needless to say, I am a bit overwhelmed with all of the flurry of activity that has happened since this past February, and am going through phases of fear and anxiety mixed with positive vibes. Thank you for providing this online community!
