About Me (In My Own Words)
On December 2011, I started getting skipped heart beats for the first time in my 19 years of living. I immediately decided to go to the doctor and fair enough, he heard a murmur. He referred me to a cardiologist and the cardiologist found that I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and I was diagnosed with aortic regurgitation. I had to have heart surgery.
I had my open heart surgery on February 14, 2012.
