About Me (In My Own Words)

I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve, I have moderate regurgitation and severe stenosis. I had my second child with severe stenosis. THAT was scary! She is now 9 months old and I am scheduled for AVR surgery in a couple of weeks. I am getting it replaced with a mechanical valve. I am 36 years old, married with two children, 2.5 years and 9 months.
