About Me (In My Own Words)
I have had mitral valve prolapse for many years which has resulted in severe regurgitation. While getting an angiogram, blockage of a branch artery was also found. So now both will be corrected. Surgery date set, postponed and reset for April. Never been so scared in my life but I simply have to do this so I can be here for my son and God willing live a wonderful life into old age surrounded by friends and family. I feel like the scarecrow on the road to Oz--looking for courage!
