Packer Fan My husband was diagnosed with AS last January. He has a bicuspid valve. Recently had another echo and was told things have progressed "slightly" and that he should come back in a year for another echo. He denies all symptoms but SOB, but he must have downplayed it because the doc told him to come back in a year, or if symptoms develop. (Thought SOB WAS a symptom!) I've noticed fatigue, SOB, hoarseness and a cough. I know these can be nothing, or they can certainly be related to AS and/or aneurysms. Doc classifies his AS as "moderate". How much tighter can a .71 valve get?

Sophia Ridley One thing that's very evident through my time on this wonderful site is that everyone's case is different. What might be acceptable to one with AS isn't for another. Personally I would be seeking another opinion and be attending the meeting with my husband.
