Sherry, Know that you have a whole community praying for you. Sounds like you are in very capable hands. A scripture that gives me confidence is "With God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26 I will be having my surgery on March 12th.

Sherry, Just read Adam Picks post to you and think it is great you got a chance to see your surgeon on video?! I hope that this gave you a great deal more confidence as you head towards your surgery. It helps to know your surgeon has such great experience with Valve surgery and you are lucky to have him for your surgery on the 17th. So please have confidence as you ready yourself for this big day. I wish you and your Family well and an excellent outcome! Hi Sherry, Great to meet you and welcome to our community. I'm hopeful that the information and caring people here will help you along your journey. So you know... You have found an amazing surgeon in Dr. Clifton Lewis. I have traveled to Birmingham to watch him operate. He's not only highly, highly, highly skilled, Dr. Lewis is also a super nice guy. After I watched him perform 5 surgeries, he invited me over to his house for dinner. Talk about Southern hospitality!
