I eat plenty of green leafy veg and salad and take daily warfarin . Only you can choice your valve . Be guided by the knowledge and experience of your surgeon .

Hi Rhonda, my name is Michael and I am 56 years old with severe AS and ascending aortic aneurysm due to a bicuspid valve. I plan to have a bio-prosthetic valve put in to avoid blood thinners with reoperation performed in the future via TAVR. This was suggested by my cardiologist and surgeon.
