Hi Paul. CHF sounds like not much fun. You are being treated for it, right? There are a ton of things that make CHF better: aerobic exercise, low salt diet, ACE inhibitors, to name some of the least invasive. Have you had an echogram recently? The right course of treatment will depend on the underlying cause. But the aerobic exercise and low salt intake you can do yourself and are good in any case. Take care buddy -- DVB

LOL. No, it's no fun. Last Dr visit, he told me that all tests came back "normal" and my echos looked "normal" and my blood work was "normal". My wife figures that is the problem.
I have never been "normal". :D
Doing the diet stuff but, only on 1 drug (lasix) . Dr said he could prescribe some other things but, then said he didn't figure I'd take them. He was right. I hate ingesting refined chemicals. I'll find the same results in real food or do without.
I will concentrate more on exercise. But, the edema in my legs is restrictive there.
Hi Paul,
Hang in there. See you are in Montana. Maybe you need to get checked out by another dr.
I\'m sure the kids want you around.

Actually, we seem to have a fantastic Cardiac group here in Billings. But, I wouldn't mind moving to a warmer climate. The -30 deg winters are getting really old these days. So, the excuse of having to see another Dr may just be the ticket!!!!

HI Paul and welcome to HVJ. I have been where you are and am still waiting. Yes I have been dizzy big time but put it off to stress of selling a house and buying one in SC. It was so bad I meant realtor someplace and had her drive around. Little did I know it was, I guess, the beginning. To this day I still get light headed and one time almost passed out while driving the car. That was scary, Glad my husband was with me, but it left and I was ok except not feeling 100% for the ret of the day.
To me it sounds like you need to go get checked out again by a doctor. You might have something else going on that can be corrected. I will follow you and keep us all posted. Good luck
For the long haul
