Mike Antoine  Thank for your words of encouragement and the information you shared about your experience at UofM and Dr. Bolling.  I know that I am in the best care and have one of the best doctors.  Since I have been on this journey the past 6 months, I have talked to three people that were patients of Dr. Bolling.  My surgery is tomorrow and I am feeling more anxious as the day moves on.  Sorry, about the rambling and thanks for listening.  Mike

Jamie Griffith  My father also had a valve repair with him 7-yrs before me.  You will do great, Mike.  My cardiothoracic anesthesiologist was Dr. Allison Janda. I believe she is still there.  She was the one who provided the calming and reassurance prior to surgery and when I entered the OR.  I had a sense of peace that everything would be ok.  The nurses were all amazing, too, but I was shocked at how calming Allison was for me prior to surgery.  My best of luck to you.  I am praying and rooting for a speedy recovery!
