Hi Meredith. Regarding your question about hiring a private duty nurse.....I cannot imagine that your care in both ICU and step down will be anything but spectacular. I received excellent and attentive care from nurses, to aides, to kind cleaning people and food service people. That's my two cents!

Hi Meredith, I have the same surgery date as you, just saw that you commented on someone's post. I have never heard of a private aide, how does that work? How can you organize that?
