Hi Lori....Well my friend, your appointment is almost here! I think of you each day, and hope all the projects in your house are keeping you busy! Knowing you like I do, I am sure they are! :-) Hope you have been feeling OK, and remaining positive about your appointment. Sending hugs and prayers from me and all the "kid's".
Hi Lori,
We just finished our bathroom remodel and if your kitchen is anything like our BR you will be busy enough to keep you grounded until your appt with the cardiologist. Hang in there you are in all our thought and prayers.

Hey Lori - Look at everything you have been through so we know that you have the strength to get this done. The outcome will be so worth it. Our thoughts will be with you for a full and speedy recovery. If there is anything we can do don't hesitate to ask. Take care girl! Greg and Sarah
I know this is a hard time, and so many decisions to make. Just put one foot in front of the other and voila! You will have reached your destination, wherever you'd like that to be.
Always know that I am here if you need ANYTHING! You know I would love nothing more than to love on those animals of yours. And if you decide you need another road trip, I'm here to care for your babies.
Hi Lori,
My best wishes to you for a happy resolution to your problems. Let that cute little dog in your pix be your inspiration. Love dogs!!!!! A few years ago I had a big thyroid problem, but through watchful waiting it resolved itself and has been fine now for 3 yrs. I'm not saying yours will resolve, but it's just a thought. Mine was brought on my an iodine toxicity (long story). Do keep us all posted. Ruth Howell

Lori,
That is GREAT news!! At least now, they will hopefully get things moving in the right direction toward your surgery.
Any time you need another "break".....you know where I live!
Keeping you daily in my prayers.....Love You.
Lori,
I am so glad to hear you are on the "list" so if you choose to go this route all your "doxies" are in a row. From the read it sounds like the time away has improved the outlook so keep the memory and do the next indicted step.
ps: love the piggy picture - is this the one from when we went to Antiock?
Hi Lady... This journal is a great idea. We all wonder how you are doing and now you just have to say it once. It will be a good reference if you decide to write a book. Glad to see you are keeping at least some of your doctors appointments. Hang in there,
Sheri Finley
I'm so glad you're back and taking care of what you need to do. This journal is so cool! Thanks for inviting me and keeping us all updated.
Take deep breaths and stay positive!
Love you lots!
Leslie
Lori,
It sounds like it is wonderful to have friends that you can escape to. You definitely have some big and emotional "stuff" on your plate. I believe the mind, body and soul are stronger than we can imagine. I know I was amazed by how strong my own heart and body are and continue to be.
It is funny how strangers can sometimes give us what we need. It sounds like you were given some good advice at a time when you needed it.
We all approach this process in our own ways.
Take care of both your body and mind. Trust your instincts.

Loved the doxies on your picture page. I have two old ones, 10 and 9, and one dachshund/chihuahua cross, 14. He looks more like a fox than anything else--has longish fur, a huge sweeping feather-duster of a tail, and a sharp pointed nose.
On the health side, do take care of yourself. Keep the appointments. Go on whatever list is available. I have a close friend on the lung transplant list although she goes on and off it according to how her lung function is that month. That may occur with your heart as well.
Again, best of luck.
Terry C.
Love,
Leslie
