I am thinking of you today Uncle Larry. I know you are in good hands, and you will be up and running before long... your garden awaits. Oh... and have I ever told you that you are my "favorite uncle"!!
Love You to Pieces... Your "Other" Favorite Neice:) ...XOXOXO
Today's the big day, so please know that
you are in our hearts and prayers, and we
are all thinking positive thoughts about you! Keep up your Marine Corps strength, and
your Irish blarney and you will "wow!" everyone!! Prue
Dear Lord Tillingsworth, being the royalty of
Uncle Johns Road, and having the backbone
of a U.S. Marine, plus the stamina of being
Irish, you are going to come through this
ordeal with flying colors .. and stronger than
ever! Your garden awaits you, and so do
all the people who love you .. !!! Prue
I am a friend of Pru Pope. She sent me this link so I could share my story with you.
Last April at the age of 88 I went through valve replacement surgery at Cape Cod Hospital. I won't say it was a breeze but much better than I had thought. Everyone involved was wonderful!! Especially the nurses in the cardiac intensive care unit. They are true angels. :-)
My best advice is to enjoy the rest you will get in the hospital....once you get to rehab...they will keep you on your toes!!
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Sincerely, Barbara Marsh
Larry, I have given your dad a ride several times to MCL meetings and lunches - he is a great guy and we miss him. I know how much he is looking forward to this procedure. Please give him my best - our thoughts and prayers are with him. He is a tough Marine, and he will be back on his feet soon!
I am interested in your surgery..so glad your letting us know your procedure and the dentist. I am surprised about it..since they don't require antibiotics anymore for dental cleaning. I bet some people don't go ?..so it's good to not have that problem as well..Looking forward to reading more..God Bless!
Iarry...I have been to Brighams already....I had a aortic stent placement in 1/12. I am going back on 1/17/13 for a aortic valve replacement. It is a great hospital and know they will take good care of me. I wish you luck!!!! When will you be going??
