Hey Jim, Sounds like you are doing pretty good. Keep up the good work. Its always nice to get back to normal, espically if it is a job you enjoy. Good luck to you.

Jim it sounds as if you are heading in all the right directions. Back to sleeping in your own bed, your scar is healing nicely and most importantly you are feeling better from your cardiac rehab!
Keep up the good work.. we're rooting for you (and the Steelers!)
I got concerned when I saw a new e-mail, but from here on out it will only be to share good events. Great job on the walking. It just goes to show what the right meds , ice-cream and a good bowl of dirt can do!
We're happy to hear that you are home Jim... It's always more comfortable there, even though you are still having pain. And since it's still summertime you have your whole crew there ready and willing to wait on you hand and foot! ; )
Take as many meds as they will allow you to. I am just starting to ween myself off the pain killers taken 4x pers day and I am 3 weeks post op. I have been just about pain free the whole time. It makes the breathing, coughing and walking so much easier.
I saw this journal and am really glad to hear you are progressing in your recovery. Many prayers and wishes for you to get home with your family quickly. And Lisa, hang in there. We are all sending you some strength thru this.
Jim, your journal popped up on facebook and I am shocked. I am so glad to read you are doing well. I can't imagine anything keeping you down for too long. My prayers to you and your beautiful family,,,
Sorry to hear that you need to have surgery, but glad to hear that you will not have to wait long. Sending lots of love and prayers to you today on your surgery day as well as going forward... for a speedy recovery!!

Some good news, some bad news...I like the saying "no news is good news". I hope the plan goes how you want it to go. I suppose the tests will dictate that. Soon, you will finally be on your way to your full recovery. Keep your spirits up, we will keep you in our prayers.
