I had mitral valve repair on Aug 12 Along with tricuspid repair and a maze procedure. You will do fine... Just ask questions and I'll be glad to help with some answers.

I'm 6wks post MV repair. My appetite was less for a few weeks (worse the last few days in hospital as was craving home cooking), my parents were here so mum cooked tasty old favourites to tempt me. I had buildup drinks to supplement my diet, some are like milk... Read more.
