Hi Inge, we are so glad to hear that you are finally doing so well. I will let all your friends down here at Island RV know about your wonderful news. Gerry and I will leave here in about a week and spent some time looking around the Louisiana and Alabama gulf shore before we head back to Wisconsin. Say Hi to Bob . Hope you continue to feel great!
Hi Inge, This is wonderful news; I'm very happy for you. I know it was a difficult decision and a long recovery but hopefully you'll be able to do more of the things you like to do and have the energy to enjoy them. I have another good friend who is having open heart surgery today in St. Louis to repair a couple of leaky valves in her heart. Please say a little prayer for her too.
Hi Inge, I hope the fluid issue clears up and you are free of pain. You are such a "trooper" so strong willed, this is a "Good Thing". I hope you and your family have a good holiday. Merry Christmas. Janet
Hi Inge, glad to hear things are are going along ok for you. Gerry and I are at Island RV in the same spot we had last year..Will miss having you guys next door. Weather has been pretty good. A little rain, but they need it so bad down here. Hope that things continue to improve for you and also that you and Bob have a Merry Christmas.. Take care, Bernie & Gerry
That is really good news. I've been hoping the fluid would go away on its own. Let's hope it's smooth sailing from here on in. Hope your brother is doing OK and recovering from his stroke. I know it takes a long time but they say good things happen to those who wait. :-)
Thanks for the updates and keep them coming.
This is fantastic news!!! An answer to my prayer for you just last night! Whatever it is you've been doing, keep on doing it! Good nutrition and as much exercise as is possible and the next time will be even better!
I am so happy for you! Keep your faith strong. God is in control and He will provide.
Inge, This is Marilyn Satterwhite. I forgot to sign the last post I make so I'll put my name at the beginning of this one. So sorry to hear abut your brother. You've been on my mind every day. I really appreciate the updates. I'm hoping maybe the fluid will just magically go away on its own. Keep us posted.
I am happy to hear you are feeling better each day. I have been following your journal and it has been an inspiration to me as I wait for my upcoming AVR on 9/8. I was wondering what type of valve did you get? Are you taking coumedin? I still have to make that decision. My nerves are getting the best of me!
I am so so very happy too hear that you are doing so much better grandma! That is the bestest news ever! See i told you that you are a very strong grandma and you were gonna be that much stronger! I knew you could do it! I'm so proud of you! And i love you so very much!
Just wanted to let you know that at least two of the meds I was on were making me nauseous. When those meds were stopped the nausea improved. Also, I had no interest in food. Nothing tasted right and I had to force myself to eat. I only got over this few weeks ago. But my appetite is still not normal. I force myself to eat so that I will heal and improve my anemia. It sounds like you're doing well with the usual and expected "issues." Hang in there. Ruth Howell
Just want you to know I am thinking about you and praying for your quick recovery. Everyone in the office says to tell you hello and hope you are improving every day. Keep drinking that water.
Love that you are improving every day. Hope we can have lunch at a place of your choice before the snow blows. Lunch will be on me girlfriend. Would love your girls to join us. You keep going girl !!!!
Ok Inge -Quit worrying so much (I know, easier said than done.)
Gary too has sleep apnea. He uses the
C-pap of a night and rests/sleeps much better. Thankfully he doesn't snore anymore either. It was like sleeping in a train yard with him.
You have better times head girlfriend.
One day at a time!
Hugs, Joyce T
I am so glad to hear you are doing so well. I was gone a week and I am so happy to see you have made so much progress. May God continue to bless you with improvement and get you back to the best of health.
So happy to read about your progress but sad you had to make the extra trip back to Springfield. Patience is the key to your progress. Glad you have such wonderful help. Lisa and Bob are true angels.
One day at a time girl friend.
Hugs, Joyce T
Wonderful to read about your great progress. sounds like your surgery was a great succes. The smallest improvement daily is good because you are soley consentrating on the whole process. One system improves the next system & together you will improve. daily baby steps. Keep your mind busy about next week as you improve. It's wonderful for you to have this support & great family & friends behind you, push-push, blow-blow-blow, step-step-step. Maybe you could write a song & g-kids could sing? thinking about you Marg J.
Inge, I've been watching for a new post and hoping everything is progressing at the expected rate of recovery. You aren't missing a thing outside--it's too hot to leave the house. Tell your family we really appreciate the updates. Marilyn Satterwhite
Thank you so much for the update. I've been concerned for your mom. I figured she just has a lot of recovering to do and it will take time to get back to journaling. She got us all "hooked" on her journal and I know we all enjoy keeping in touch with her.
Thank you goes to you and Bob for helping her in all ways including keeping the rest of us informed. You both are doing a great job.
God bless all of you! I am still praying for all of you!
Mom, its great that you're coming home. Maybe baby steps for the time being. Gradually you will get back to your self...no more mooing Love you lots! And please don't push yourself too much! You just had major heart surgery last Tues. You are totally awesome and definately a survior! God bless you.! We both love you more than words can express! Kissess/Huggs/ Lots of them
YeeHaw! Good job Inge. Walk, nap, blow, nap, walk blow.
Nap all the way home tomorrow and you will be here in no time. Bob will take good care of you and you will soon be back to cooking, cleaning and washing. Oh yuk - take your time and don't rush things. Give me a call once things are settled down. Family gets you first :-) Hugs, Joyce T
Hi Inge, I was so happy tor read your post just now and learn that you are really making good progress. I was sure you would, but it's nice to see it in print from you. Do keep us posted on your progress. It will be good to get home--just take it easy and don't try to do too much. Marilyn
Hi Inge, So great to finally have you posting messages again - you go girl! It sounds like you are moving right along in the healing process. Be patient girl friend you will be up and about soon enough. Bob did a good job with updating. Tell him practice makes perfect. Hope to hear from you again tomorrow. Hugs, Joyce T
Hey mom (mooooo moooo), Our beautiful mother.
It sounds like you are doing much better, and yes you have to push yourself but just like i said earlier don't over push yourself, but call the nurses 3-4 times a day and walk. I love you very much, and i wish i could be there until you get out. Hope you get to come home very soon, we all love you and miss you very much.
Hi Inge, glad to see that you were able to post in your
Journal, even though I thought Bob did a fine job. Sounds like you are on your way to a great recovery. Keep working on the walking and doing everything they tell you. Every day gets a little better.
Take care, Bernie & Gerry
Say Hi to Bob
I am so happy to see you were able to post for yourself today. You are making marvelous strides in your recovery!! I am so happy for you and Bob and the rest of your clan!! Remember the song in your heart. You will get better everyday. Getting up and walking is the best thing to do because you have to be able to that in order to go home and it helps to reduce the fluid within. Stay strong and determined, you're getting closer day by day.
