Hi Fiona ,
welcome .
If you are worried , you should get checked over by your doctor . It is still early days after your o h s .
During the pandemic , a lot of post op cardiac rehabilitation was cancelled .
After my mitral valve surgery ( mechanical st. Jude's ) for a severely leaking mitral valve , there was no rehab to attend .
People have more support if they go to cardiac rehab. And probably push themselves more in a supervised and supportive environment .

Fiona, we are our best advocates for our healthcare. You need to call your cardiologist’s office as many times as you have to. Ginny in her post offered great advice. I ended up with fluid in my lungs that caused me to have shortness of breath after my surgery and it took a great Primary doctor I had at the time to treat me for it until it was taken care of. Hope you find the right care. God bless you
