Hi Deb, So glad you found this amazing website and all of us! Our stories are somewhat parallel. My murmur was first detected 20 years ago. Then 10 years ago I was diagnosed with a BAV. My regular cardiologist has referred me to an interventional cardiologist and next week I will start to undergo testing including a heart cath. I'm 63, so have been very thankful that my valve has lasted as long as it has, plus that it was detected 10 years ago so that my cardiologist was regularly seeing/testing me and I'm not in an emergent situation! I am praying for you now and for your medical team as you undergo this next test. I know God's hand is on you and that He's not done with you yet.
