Hi David,
I am new here and haven\'t started my journal. I am a patient at Brighams and goin Wed. to meet with Dr. Ralph Bolman. He will be repairing my Tricuspid valve. All my Dr\'s are there so am familiar with most things, but a stupid question.
Do they have those heart shaped pillows for you? If not, I want to get something ahead of time.

Thanks and Best of Luck to you! B&W is the best! And YES, they had a heart-shaped pillow waiting for me (if I remember correctly) in ICU right after surgery. I took it home and used it whenever I rode in the car inbetween my chest and the seatbelt. It also helped cushion the blow when I'd have to sneeze or cough. Hi David, sorry to hear of your complications, but happy to hear you are recovering. We mistakenly think sometimes that once surgery is over the journey is over, but that isn\'t the case. I myself am just recovering from bronchial pneumonia that I developed 6 weeks out. It started as a simple head cold that I picked up somewhere. Be careful as you continue to recover especially around children. Our immune systems are still working overtime taking care of our hearts. The cold and stomach viruses are lurking in the bushes! Take care and keep us posted!
