Hi David, oh dear, you have really been through the mill! Did you manage to see the truck that hit you? I am still looking for mine! Like you I feel quite disappointed with the NHS, the hospital was great, but I was cancelled 3 times before I finally got my AVR, each time I was prepped and ready to go! The first time, like you, they found infection in my gum and had to have 2 back teeth removed, maybe this is part of the government policy and to recoup the cost they are selling teeth to dental technicians 😁 I hope you carry on with a good recovery. I loved reading your journal, it was very funny and so true! Especially your description of the ward at night, I couldn't wait to get home for peace and quiet! Take care. Deb x
