Hi Dan, don't be terrified! You have to go through with this. It will extend your life and improve the quality of it. And, it's better to go into surgery with a healthy heart, before the symptoms appear, than after the symptoms appear. Recovery will be shorter and easier. Nowadays,... Read more.

I really like your comment. It's very encouraging. My ohs for mitral valve repair is November 19 and I'm feeling nervous and fearful of the whole thing. Reading comments like yours is reassuring though.
