Hello Carole, just read your story. I have gone by Tom River a few years ago. I’m sorry your plans for the TAVR are not happening but as Adam says everything happens for a reason. It’s normal to feel what you are feeling but have faith and ask questions to feel confident about your upcoming surgery. I will be praying for your successful surgery and recovery. Hi Carole, As the newest member of our patient community.... WELCOME!!! I hope the educational information and caring people here can help you along your journey to a healthy aortic valve. Sorry to hear that you will not be able to get TAVR. But, as they say, all things happen for a reason. What that reason is... We don't always know. But, I do know that SAVR is a very good surgical treatment that provides patients great surgical outcomes. My thoughts and prayers are with you!!! If you need anything, please let me know.
