Hi Barbara, Thanks for the encouraging surgery story and, boy, what a story it was! Just knowing so many folks that have had this surgery successfully eases my mind. By the way, did you sleep in a recliner after surgery and for how long? Thanks, Nancy

Nancy, we already had an adjustable Select Comfort bed so I slept in it with the head slightly elevated when I got home. I was a side sleeper before surgery and have been a back sleeper afterwards. I have an electric recliner that I use during the day.
