That March wind!! It’s nearly blown me away! Andrew and I went on a little road trip to New Mexico to celebrate his birthday. Stopped by the Cadillac Ranch and left our mark on the cars. Spent a couple of days at the Oja Spa in Santa Fe soaking in the thermal pools. Visited Georgia O’Keefe’s museum home in Obiquiu. Went to the Bandelier National Park. Got my lifetime park pass and wheeled around in a wheelchair. Saw the Rio Grand Gorge and made our way across the bridge. Drove through the Carson National Forest and did a lot of sightseeing and driving along the way. We had so much fun that I didn’t want to come home, but there’s always an ending regardless of what you want. We had the best time ever, and I look forward to our next adventure. I’ve been struggling with a lung infection since the weekend after we got home.😬 I’m on some pretty high~powered medicine and…. I’m getting a new ride! The doctor decided that I need a wheelchair to ride around in. 🥳I never dreamed the day would come that I’d be excited to get those wheels, but I am excited. She also said that if I would wear my mask, that when I get better, I can venture out in public now….as long as it’s not in big crowds. I also have some exciting news. In May, I am scheduled to go to the Washington University in St. Louis, MO to have some testing and to see if they can help me. I think of you all often, and pray that everyone is getting stronger and healthier. I also think of and pray for those who are waiting for surgery and those in recovery. It takes a village, and I’m so glad to be part of this one! I can feel your prayers, and when I close my eyes, I can see your faces. I cherish each and every one of you!

Look what was under the tree with my name on it Christmas morning! Years ago, I settled for a mandolin. It was recommended that I learn it first. My heart was never fully in it, but man! My heart is in it now! It was all wrapped up in brown craft paper with a vintage, brass treble cleft cookie cutter dangling from the most gorgeous ribbon. I can’t wait to learn how to play this! Happiest of New Year to each and everyone of you! Do what makes your heart happy this coming year!

Patsy Stewart Thank you, everyone! It truly thrilled my heart to receive this awesome gift. I'm hoping that since the mandolin's notes are similar that it will be easier for me to learn. I get a little out of breath trying to play, but it could be from the added excitement. Angela, I love that your son is a professional! I'm sure you are very proud of him. Marie, what a story of your dad! Your nephew has a precious treasure! My grandfather played the violin. When my grandma passed, he hung the violin on the wall and never played it again.🙁I was 5 when she passed away, and I can't remember ever hearing him play because we were away. We moved back when my grandma got sick, and lived walking distance from him most of my childhood to be near and care for him. He did continue to play his banjo and I've spent many hours just listening to him. When I'd stop for a visit, I could hear him playing and singing the moment I opened my car door. He also made/carved out violins. My mom has one that he made for her, but she's never been musically inclined. I miss my grandpa!
I’m excited to share the 20’ Christmas tree that Andrew designed and decorated in the historical Merchants Exchange Building in San Francisco this week. It’s a nautical theme. The seagulls flying around the top are my favorite! Happy Holidays to all of you!~❤️🎄🕊

Patsy Stewart Deena, Andrew wears a coat of many colors. He’s done a lot of interior design from NY to California. He was a set design for several years as well. He now does photography work for clients in NY and California. It involves set design, purchasing vintage/antiques, furniture and a LOT of set building. I go on every shoot he has here and he’s always asking for my ‘eye’ on his projects. I’m also the seamstress for a lot of his projects…anything from reupholstering, making curtains, pillows, tablecloths, etc. from the client’s fabrics. My last big job was making a pattern and sewing a hat for one of his clients. I about gave up the ghost on that project! It was for a photo shoot in Monterey. He’s been known to throw in our fold up mattress so that I can lay around when I need to. He usually takes one look at me in the mornings and knows when I’m having trouble putting one foot in front of the other. Lol!! We’re quite the pair working together.
Ana Brusso Patsy, is Andrew your son or husband? I got confused. I know both of them are “Class Acts”.

Timothy Andre Patsy, don't be sorry. It just reminds me I need to return for a visit soon. The SF Bay Area is beautiful. I grew up in the Sonoma wine country just north of SF. I'm happy with my move and love living in PA. I'm 45 minutes west of Philly and work in the Amish country of Lancaster County. This place is beautiful as well. I couldn't imagine that commute for your brother. He is not alone, a lot of people do that commute and it must take nerves of steel. Thanks for sharing Andrews work, I really enjoyed it

Patsy Stewart Well…Deena. I’m going to have to admit that I do play a musical instrument or two…maybe 3 or 4!! Lol!! I’ve been the pianist for several area churches since I was in Jr. High School. My dad was a minister. He started preaching when I was in high school. I absolutely love playing the piano! I didn’t take lessons…just kind of had an ear for it and was also playing the flute in our school band. I could read music and it was easy for me to learn. Mom & dad got me a piano and put it in our living room. They had to move it into their bedroom because I couldn’t contain myself and everyone else wanted to watch television. I had some friction from playing in the bedroom too because the wall they set it up against was my brother’s bedroom on the other side. He would beg me to give the piano a rest. Andrew was a different story. He would ask me to play for him when he went to bed at night. Such a sweet memory for me! He still asks me to play every once in awhile. He also asks me to give it a rest when he’s trying to concentrate on his work. 🙂~❤️

Happy Halloween! Halloween has been so different for us since 2019. We always made lots of treats to hand out at our church’s Halloween trick or treat party. Soooo looking forward to the day we can join in again. In the meantime….our chickens carved the pumpkin for us. We made little holes for the eyes and mouth using an ice pick and set the pumpkin out for them to finish. Who knew chickens had such an artistic bone?!! 🎃👻☠️🙀

Marie, I’m glad you got to attend your 50th. and had such a good time. My class reunion has always been important to me. Richard Munson He was a little shocked at first as it was quite big and was guarding his harem but then he got ready for war. Funny how quick they learn the ropes. A few years back a coyote gave cassie a look like lets rumble big girl but thought better of it once she let out a snarl to wake the dead. It was a pipsqueak compared to her. I worry about rabies of course. After her run in a few years back with mr. Woodchuck the body had to be tested and she got rabies boosters.

We toured the barn and then drove around the pens that held the momma and baby Clydesdales. Oh my gosh! I was in heaven!!!
