My ascending aorta is now 5.2 Cm. I had my aortic valve replaced 30 years ago with a St Jude mechanical. I had a bicuspid valve. I’m 75 now and want my aorta repaired. Should I push Mayo to get it fixed?

I would get referrals to a couple of surgeons and discuss your options. They can do a lot with dacron mesh wraps now and there are valve sparing surgeries.
