I am 41 (9weeks out of surgery for MVR & Double CABG) years old and was born with BAV , however it was not found till I went for surgery due to other health conditions and it had to be prolong due to severe aortic stenosis in '09 (only valve with a problem). Had the valve changed to tissue valve (only available choice could not take ACT) . Ended up back in cardio office 3 months later with shortness of breath , did echo said echo can not justify symptoms mild mitrial reguration , 1 1/2 years of continual complaning had another heart cath done that showed 2 coronary veins completely closed off due to pannus. Had a stroke & heart atttack and the finally had mvr & double bypass...I feel 98% better than ever except i get palpatations from time to time that I will be discussing with cardio in 2 months when I go back for checkup
