I hope you are all doing good. I lived and made it through (which was my biggest concern). I will update you all when I leave the hospital. I love you all for the cards, notes, flowers--it is good to have a support network. Thanks especially to Jim who has been by may side. Love, Sharon
Thank you all so much for your notes. It really helps. I have been reading so many of your journals. It has helped me in so many ways. I have to admit I have received so much for tomorrow. I am now hoping it is over with and I am on my way home. God Bless each of you.
I am getting closer to the actual surgery. I honestly have to say that I appreciate all of the entries. They pick up my spirits. I am really scared. I want to express my sincere appreciation to those of you who left notes and to the rest of you, I love you all. I apologize for any pre-surgery nervous energy that I am experiencing, just know how much I really do treasure your love & support. slh 10/11
My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, October 13th, 2010 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have three of the best doctors: Dr. Barry London, Cardiologist, Dr. Joon Lee, Cardiologist (He did the cardiac catherization.), and Dr. Thomas Gleason. Dr. Gleason is the main man now. He is the surgeon and will be directing all the events for Wednesday. It has been postponed several times. Most recently, I had severe bronchitis and needed rest and healing time.
I feel that I have the best team and I am really looking forward to having this over. I ask any and all to pray the Lord for me. I feel bad asking that but I know that God has to be in that operating room with me and I am sure he will be but I am so very scared. This has challenged my faith in ways I did not think possible! I love you all. slh 10/8/2010
