Went to yearly Cardio appointment yesterday and my EKG showed inverted T waves. My echo was great and I have been feeling great. My surgery was over a year ago and I had a normal EKG after surgery not sure of why it changed.? Anyone have this issue?
One other minor thing did anyone have to get their wires and clamp removed from the sterum??? Mine is loose and they said I dont need them anymore. It would not be all that bad but would have to get admitted to hosp because on coumidan.

Tomorrow is five weeks since my surgery. Feeling better every week. I see Dr. Bavaria on Sept 7. Getting kids ready to go back to school. I see all that Jacki does for them and cant believe she has the energy to take care of me too. I love her she has been my rock through this whole process and could not have done it without her.
Well cardio appointment went well. Everything sounded good. INR levels back up to 2. Goal is 2.5 -3.0 Still working at that. Slept in my bed for the first night (all Night) but very stiff again this am. recovery in full swing
1.2 today after uping my blood thinner. I will be taking 6 mg tonight for three nights and it will be checked on monday at my cardio app. I am not eating much vit k so not sure whats going on. Anybody else with this problem?
Went to my doc for a check up today. Boy that wore me out. He was very happy with my progress. He lowered my lopresser to 25 mil because by pressures been low. Also called my cardio just to make sure that was ok and he agreed. I just worry that so far everything is good I hope it continues. As for pain I only need my pain meds at night due to being so stiff in the am, that seems to help that. I see my cardio on Monday morning so I will update soon.
Cant believe 1 week ago I was in surgery. Very strange feeling but doing good since that day. Still dealing with headaches and back pain along with some neck pain also. Everyday seems better then the one before. Thanks for all the prayers and support.
Was discharged late afternoon today. I am feeling good but sore. My neck and back hurt so bad. Not to tired but am resting. Still dealing with being hot then cold. If thats the worst of it thats ok. Had a great experience in hospital for the most part. Meet my new friend Lee, and by the way she is doing awesome. Visiting nurse coming out tomorrow. Hoping for a good night tonight.

She is really hanging in there. Well working tonight and tomorrow night then I am finished for a while.
Its not a week until Thurs but this is my week before the big day. Was wondering if anyone could tell me their average stay at the hospital. I read 5-10 days. I am getting the mechanical valve so I guessing the blood thinner will have to be regulated before I can leave. Let me know if anyone has time how long your stay was.
