My husband is having TAVR surgery in a few days via catheritization. The surgeon says 2 weeks recovery; REALLY?? What is realistic for patients to recover?

I guess it all boils down to the word recovery. Recovery to me is doing after the surgery what you could do before. His surgeon may view recovery as opening his eyes.
