My daughter is Jacqueline Cook who had a heart cath today. I am now 73, and had quadruple bypass surgery 15 years ago, and have not had any red meat in 15 years. I have power walked everyday since, except for a year and a half ago, when I developed shortness of breath. Seems my bypasses had disintegrated, and I was getting blood flow from callaterals. Mayo Clinic did 2 more bypasses, and did great. I am back to the walking routine. My golfing buddy had aortic valve replacement at the same time I had my first bypass. Strange, but he needed another aortic a week before I had my last double bypass. Cardiovascular disease is rampant in our family. My older sister had a heart attack a week before I had my second bypass. My Mom passes away after bypass surgery in 1994. Life is good. Looking forward for my First born to get fixed up and find many more years of health wealth and happiness.
