I haave been coping with heart valve issues for 3 1/2 years. In spite of the problem. I have resumed many of my activities and considered myself doing "as well as could be expected." I have been faithful in following drs. instructions. On Sept. 17, I had a syncope episode while getting up at night to go to the bathroom. I was hospitalized when I went to the emergency room with a badly bruised face. Yesterday (12/9) I had another in the parking lot of the hospital--taking a poinsettia to an ill friend-- Another afternoon in ER and more facial bruises.Am so frustrated because these episodes come with NO WARNING. I feel well enough to continue volunteer activities that are meaningful to me. How do I sort out what is safe to do????
