The process of choosing the right surgeon and hospital is overwhelming. I am a nurse so I am trying to balance my medical knowledge with my faith and confidence in God's hand in our lives. I wonder if anyone out there has had a similar surgery at Cleveland Clinic? What surgeon did you use? What was the nursing care there like. We're the staff very young or very experienced? Your input would greatly be appreciated. Thank you, Maddy for Dave too!

Rose Madura Maddie, welcome to the site. There are many on this site who had similar surgeries at the Cleveland Clinic with great outcomes. They are experienced. Adam has a lot of videos on this site about the surgeries and from some of the doctors at the CC. God bless you and Dave on this journey. Do your research and get a second opinion. Godspeed.

Neal Syverson I went to Cleveland Clinic for mitral valve repair so I can't answer your question on Surgeons. I can tell you about the nursing staff. They had a wide variety of experience. Any in lead positions were very experienced. All were excellent and were very responsive. I was very impressed when I developed a bout of AFIB. Four nurses came rushing into my room before I new what was happening. They stayed with me for over an hour until they had it under control. All the staff from the Surgeon to room service were excellent.
Madeline Hagman Thank you so much Neal. I appreciate that input!
