So, my husband had an aortic valve replacement, aortic arch replacement and some work done on the aortic vessel nearly 3 years ago. All was fine until 12 months ago when he began to feel unwell again. We’re now facing a mitral valve replacement and tricuspid valve repair within the next 3 weeks.
Has anybody else had a double valve replacement? Both mechanical, and if so, have you regained some semblance of a regular life?

Not that I can say as my surgery won’t be until almost end of November. I truly feel for both of you. I read your story. I have read some post where people say they have gone thru the emotional and mental issues you described about your husband. I don’t have any answers for you but wanted to let you know I will pray for God’s joy and peace comes to both of you. Blessings and prayers
