I am 68 yo. I had open heart surgery in Feb 2024 to replace an aortic valve and a dilated ascending aorta. I have continued my post op rehab by going to the gym 4-5 times a week and training with weights. After training for it, 6 months after my surgery in August 2024, I completed a 9 mile quarter marathon in Sydney. In January 2025 (almost 1 year after surgery) I started to experience an irregular heart beat. The irrgegular heart beat has been diagnosed as an ectopic heart beat and is being monitored.
I would appreciate any thoughts you have on this or any similar experiences.
