November 15 will be one of those days I'll never forget. My husband, Jeff and I have to be at the University of Kentucky at 5 am to begin the pre-op procedures for surgery. The surgeon is replacing my bicuspic valve and repairing a bulge in my aorta.
Lying on the couch resting, I am thankful for the sunshine outside my window. It warms my soul.
I am fairly new to this type of web interaction, and honestly stumbled upon this site because I was seeking information about this type of health issue.

But to realize there is a more dangerous issue, boy, was I surprised. So many questions...but after the shock wore off, I wanted answers, information, peace of mind knowing it would be repaired.
