Hi! I'm seeking advice on a safe/ reasonable timeframe for my dad to have TAVR/ SAVR because the hospital he is being seen at has longer wait times than others, but is where he would prefer to have care. I am going to share some of his specific #s below but most notably also he has had a sharp increase in symptoms associated with his aortic stenosis. He went from riding 80 miles at a time on his bike, weight lifting, and doing heavy work around the house all day long to being out of breath just walking around the house and falling asleep 3 times a day because he is constantly tired within the last few months! The progression of his symptoms is what is most concerning to me related to waiting. Thank you all so much for this community and any feedback that you can provide!
