I was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis about 6 yrs ago. Now after being followed with periodic echocardiagrams it is classified as severe and surgery is suggested. I am planning to have aortic valve replacement sometime in May. I am seeing my surgeon the first part of May to set a date and make all of the arrangements..I have read Adam Pick's book and found it very informative and helpful. My surgeon is wonderful about explaining things and answering my questions.
