I had open heart surgery in March 2022 to replace a regurgitating aortic valve with a bioprosthetic valve. In Nov. 2022 I had an echocardiogram which showed that the prosthetic aortic valve had some degree of prosthetic mismatch and moderate prosthetic stenosis. My cardiologist is not concerned about this but I wonder how long it will take to become severe.
