Lewis Garlisi Having mitral and aortic valve replacements after a kidney transplant may not be so common, but a double valve replacement is. There are many people on this site that have. You may want to brouse this website as there are many supportive people with similar experiences. They are often younger, but where I had aortic and mitral valves done, I was told the average age for ohs patients was somewhere in the 70s. Good luck.
